BURSARY

DESCRIPTION OF AWARD:

Bursary to be given to a graduate of a secondary school in Oxford County who is proceeding to a recognized post secondary institution.

VALUE OF AWARD:

$500.00 each (no set limit)

SELECTION CRITERIA:

Given to a dependent of a C.U.P.E. 1146 member or a student who is a C.U.P.E. 1146 Member.

SCREENING & SELECTION:

Applications will be screened and selected by the C.U.P.E. Local 1146 Bursary Committee.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES & GUIDELINES:

Applicant must fill in an appropriate CUPE 1146 Bursary application form provided to the guidance department or download a copy of the application here.

Deadline for applications: no later than May 1st each year.
Schools will be notified of successful recipient(s) by June 1st and are asked to notify the recipient(s).
Awards will be presented by a member of C.U.P.E. Local 1146 at commencement where possible.
